Menopause Support

Menopause is a natural transition — but you don’t have to simply put up with feeling unlike yourself.

Perimenopause and menopause can affect sleep, temperature, mood, energy, concentration, joints, skin and vaginal or urinary health. Every person’s experience is different.

Support may include lifestyle changes, HRT or non-hormonal treatment, alongside carefully selected supplements where appropriate. There is no single answer that suits everyone.

The best place to begin is by understanding your symptoms and exploring safe, realistic options that feel right for you.

What Might You Be Experiencing?

Menopause can affect far more than periods, and symptoms may change over time. These are some of the most common areas people ask us about.

Hot Flushes & Night Sweats

Sudden heat, sweating and disrupted nights are common, but triggers and severity can vary greatly from person to person.

Sleep, Mood & Brain Fog

Hormonal changes may affect sleep, concentration, memory, anxiety, low mood and the feeling that you are no longer quite yourself.

Physical & Intimate Changes

Joint aches, changes to skin or hair, vaginal dryness, discomfort and urinary symptoms can all be part of the menopause experience.

Simple Changes That May Help

You don’t need to change everything at once. Start with one or two realistic habits and give them time to become part of your routine.

Support Your Body

• Keep regular sleep and rest routines where possible.
• Eat a balanced diet with protein, fruit, vegetables and calcium-rich foods.
• Include weight-bearing and resistance exercise to support strength and bone health.
• Stay well hydrated throughout the day.

Manage Symptoms Day to Day

• Keep your bedroom cool and wear light, removable layers.
• Notice possible triggers such as caffeine, alcohol, spicy food and stress.
• Try calming activities such as walking, yoga, tai chi or meditation.
• Ask a pharmacist or GP about suitable moisturisers or treatments for vaginal dryness.

Carefully Chosen Menopause Support

Supplements are not a replacement for medical care, HRT or prescribed treatment. Herbal products can also interact with medicines, so we’ll help you compare options and encourage a pharmacist or GP check where appropriate.

Magnesium contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function and normal muscle function. It does not treat menopause itself.

Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function. This becomes particularly relevant as bone health deserves more attention after menopause.

These are commonly chosen during menopause, but evidence for symptom relief is mixed and they are not suitable for everyone. Check suitability if you take medication or have a health condition.

When to Speak to Your GP

Speak to a GP, nurse or pharmacist if menopause symptoms are bothering you or affecting daily life — you do not need to wait until symptoms are severe or your periods have stopped. Always contact your GP about any bleeding after menopause, even if it happens only once or is just light spotting.
